Malta is blessed with a mild climate all year round which makes it an attractive winter destination.
It is a rocky island situated just 90 km. south of Sicily, and the country consists of 3 islands, of which Malta and Gozo are the most frequently visited by tourists. The island´s rich history which revolves around the Knights of Malta and the beautiful churches built down through the centuries of Christianity are another good reason to visit the islands. Those who are interested in archaeology will be able to explore some of the world´s oldest buildings as the island´s civilization dates back 4000 years before our era. Worth visiting

• Hagar Qim and Mnajdra – Two beautiful and exciting stone age temples
• Mellieħa Bay– Perhaps the prettiest and most centrally-located beach on Malta. 800 metres of beach with the best swimming facilities, named after the town of the same name.
• Golden Bay – This bay and beach on the north side is definitely worth seeing!
• Gozo – the neighbouring island, where the competition to build the largest church was intense! Easily accessible and a”must” to visit.
