Nepal, an exhilarating travel experience

Nepal is far off the beaten track, both geographically and mentally! But if it´s an outstanding travel experience unlike any other you´re looking for, then Nepal is the place – and if you´ve been there once, the images of the indescribable mountain ranges and the indomitable spirit, warmth, and hospitality of the people will stay with you forever. And if that isn´t enough, there are plenty of more exciting experiences waiting for you here. People come here for many reasons: on pilgrimages, to ”conquer the mountain” or try other mountain-based activities such as hang-gliding, etc, to hike in the midst of some of the planet´s most awesome scenery, to learn more about the culture, and much more.

Places to visit in Nepal

Annapurna Nepal

Annapurna is both a mountain chain and one of the world´s highest peaks. Annapurna 1, at 8000 m, is one of the most demanding mountaineering challenges in the world. But you don´t have to be one of the best or even a top climber to explore this area. There are a number of fantastic, guided trekking tours available, ranging in duration from 3 days to three weeks. There is no better way to learn about Nepal than this.

Pokhara is a town in central Nepal, with a population of approx. 200,000. The city is the capital of the Kaski District and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.

The Kathmandu Valley

Experience this fantastic valley and experience the three towns of Bhaktapur, Patan and Kathmandu, home to some of the most beautiful Hindu and Buddhist temples of the East, for yourself. Enjoy a fascinating glimpse into the daily lives of the people of Nepal. Bring not just gifts, but a whole load of memories home with you, too. Learn about local history and listen to the spell-binding myths about how the country came to be. Sample the traditional Newari cuisine, which is prepared in large wood ovens, and explore the small alleyways and side-streets away from the tourists. All this will give you an experience which is totally individual and unique.

Don´t miss these…

Jungle Safari

Visiting the Kathmandu valley and conquering the peak in your own fashion, whether it be mountain-climbing, trekking or hang-gliding will naturally be the highlight of your tour, but there are other exciting experiences you can try that you may not even be aware of.

Imagine riding through the silence of the jungle on the back of an elephant. You can do it in the southern and south-western part of Nepal, only half an hour´s flying time from the capital.

Both Chitwan National Park and Bardiya National Park are home to a wealth of wildlife from mammals to reptiles, reptiles to birds, many of which you will never have seen before.

Chitwan National Park is the national park with the greatest diversity of animal and plants life in Asia and it is also the most unspoiled of all.
