And the hours to visit the Eltz Castle is 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.

The castle is located in a unique setting: Hidden in a side valley of the Moselle, erected on a 70 m high rock for defense purposes, surrounded on three sides by the Eltzbach and set in the midst of a natural paradise, it is the only castle to evoke a true medieval feeling. Imagine living here 850 years ago.

You will be awestruck as you walk through the castle. The view, the vibe, even the sound of your own voice in these huge surroundings and the fairy-tale architectural structure are just, what you might have imagined. The original family still owns it after 850 years, now owned and run by Count and Countess Eltz,  and it is open for tourists. Neuschwanstein Castle

Neuschwanstein Castle is not one of those castles that are known for hosting friendly ghosts or built for defense purposes. It is a 19th-century castle, which has one of the best looks for a fairy-tale castle concept. When you visit here, make sure you pay special attention to the interior. It is nothing but the closest you can come to the Disney fairy-tale castle interpretation. The Neuschwanstein Castle did serve as an inspiration for the Disney fairy-tale castles, mainly the one in Sleeping Beauty.  It is located in Fussen in Germany. Also, it is one of the most visited castles in Germany.

Wartburg Castle

Wartburg Castle is one of the oldest castles and dates back to the middle age. The Wartburg castle has a great history. Wartburg Castle sits in splendor over the town of Eisenach in Thuringia. It was the first German castle to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, described as an exemplary hilltop castle of the feudal period in central Europe, despite alternations and additions made in later centuries. Wartburg Castle presents an impressive overview of 1,000 years of German history It was restored in the 19th century after the close to forgotten depression in 1521 and 1522. It is now a main tourist spot and exhibits the romanticism of the 19th-century Romantic era. It is located in the Eisenach in Germany.

The Liechtenstein Castle is an old castle which is located in Liechtenstein, Germany. This castle was built in 1842. It was severely damaged in world war II, but was rebuilt soon after the war. The castle is not in the original novel!

The film is from 1931 with Boris Karloff as the monster.  Castle Frankenstein is a key element in the Frankenstein myth.  In most adaptations, Castle Frankenstein is the gothic dwelling where the mysterious scientist performs his experiments and creates his infamous monster. However, there is no Castle Frankenstein within the text of Mary Shelley’s original novel
