In 22 it is some of the following following:
Malaga is the fourth busiest airport in Spain, just after Madrid, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca. It is just 8 km from Malaga city center. It is the main airport for all resorts on the Costa Del Sol; Torremolinos (10 minutes), Benalmadena (15 minutes), Fuengirola (20 minutes), Calahonda (25 minutes), Marbella (30 minutes), Puerto Banus (40 minutes) and Estepona (60 minutes). It’s great if you fancy a weekend in Malaga City, which we highly recommend! If you live on the Estepona side of the coast, do not forget Gibraltar Airport and also Jerez.
The airport consists of three terminals. T1, T2 and T3. T1 is almost no longer used. T2 and T3 are where the European and British planes depart and arrive and the terminals are connected. It’s really just a huge terminal, so do not panic about traveling from one terminal to another.
Once you are through the security checkpoint, there are plenty of places to eat and drink.
