National Singapore Gallery, a significant art museum in Singapore
The Singapore National Gallery opened in 2015, from day 1 as a modern, significant and significant museum, covering both Southeast Asian art and guest exhibitions, as well as an exquisite selection of the best Impressionists, like the work as Claude Monet (1840-1926) and their successor. This happened in 2017. Each year has at least one major exhibition and theme.
Primarily, the museum has the largest collection of contemporary art from Singapore and Southeast Asia in general. The National Gallery is located in the heart of the Civic District in two iconic buildings City Hall (Old Town Hall) and forms the Supreme Court, perfectly restored for the purpose. The National Gallery reflects not least Singapore’s unique history and provenance and geographical central location with permanent exhibitions as well as special exhibitions and in 2017 also an exhibition of children’s art. It all happens in close collaboration with some of the world’s most famous museums.

As an expression of the position of the Singapore National Gallery in 2 years, it was mentioned that in 2016, awards for “Best Attraction Experience”, “Breakthrough Contribution to Tourism” and “Best Customer Service (Attractions)” were won at the prestigious event Singapore Tourism Awards, so it is hereby passed on as absolutely worthwhile on a trip to Singapore.
