Alanya in Turkey
This well-known vacation destination has been popular with tourists for the past 20-25 years, and is the Turkish Riviera´s largest resort. Alanya has around 290,000 permanent inhabitants, but this figure almost doubles during the holiday season. The first sight that greets you in Antalya is the large, rocky peninsula that splits the town in east and west. On this outcrop stands the ancient fort overlooking the sea, the city and the Taurus Mountains. The cliff top with its ancient fort is the city´s landmark.
Alanya does not only appeal to the more mature tourist. The city has plenty to offer the younger generation as well as. In the bazaar near the sea, you can enjoy the true southern European atmosphere over a good dinner or drink at one of the area´s many restaurants and bars. Intense haggling over prices is expected in the many shops and stalls – so if you´re good at bargaining, then this is definitely the place for you! Leather wares, genuine oriental carpets and even gold can all be purchased for very reasonable prices. With a glass of freshly brewed mint tea thrown in for free to sweeten the deal!

The approx. 15 best courses are all drawn by well-known golfers and golf course architects, and nothing is saved. The best is probably the location so close to the Mediterranean, you can beat a ball in the water from several lanes, and the tall pine trees are also characteristic. There is always a delicious golf restaurant and golf hotel and other facilities connected to the course.
